Santa Barbara Wedding Invitations

Saturday, December 31, 2016

Sweetly Said is thrilled to share this gorgeous, outdoor wedding at the Kentner Ranch in Carpinteria, California. Madison and Joel's invitations are fresh and classic with neutral shades. The letterpress invitation card is on double thick Crane Lettra in fluorescent white with metallic champagne edge painting. The suite includes a custom illustrated map and small cocktail enclosure card. The parking location was at a separate location next to the Santa Barbara Polo Club, so the map was a fun way to to inform guests. Sweetly Said sketched the venue Kentner Ranch from several photographs including the prominent stone walls and staircase. Sweetly Said also worked with Madison to provide the escort cards, programs and menus. Beautiful wedding photography by Cameron Ingalls

Newport, Rhode Island Wedding

Alison was a pleasure to work with on her nautical Rhode Island letterpress wedding invitations. We used subtle nautical motifs such as the wave, sailboat for the "Sip and Sail" on the Schooner Aurora, and map for the envelope liner. The invitation was printed on Gmund linen cotton 222# and the enclosure cards on 111# paper. We also used flat printing for the wedding programs, menus and escort cards. Palmetto, Florida Wedding

Jennifer was such a joy to work with on her Florida destination theme wedding. We took our nautical theme suite and modified for Palmetto, Florida with sea grass belly band and light aqua accents. Jen approached Sweetly Said for oyster escort cards. When she mentioned buying and shipping the oysters, I told her my son would collect the shells at the beach for her. We collected and cleaned the oysters to add the escort tables. We love fun projects with our lovely brides.  Jennifer also had extra tags printed to use for her fan favors.

France Destination Wedding

Sweetly Said created letterpress wedding invitations for the sweetest bride, Sarah, using photos from her trip to Alsace, France to sketch the church for the invitation card and a vintage style postcard for the reply, which we combined with a letterpress map envelope liner and gatefold tied with a luggage tag. The invitation and menu are printed on Wild 166# paper with Aquamarine envelopes and gatefold. We also did an lavender theme invitation suite for Sarah and Sebastien for their reception in Connecticut.
